Worried you’re missing part of your refund? Remember, the low and middle income tax offset isn’t a refund on its own – it’s used to offset (or reduce) the amount of tax you pay. The offset amount you may be entitled to is automatically applied and could range between $255-$1080, depending on things like your taxable income and how much tax you’ve paid.

Hi @SpeedBird,

You have the option to do either, if you wanted to lodge via myTax online, this will be available from the 1st July 2021. If you still want to send the paper form, this is fine to. Bear in mind we do allow up to 50 business days to process your paper return. The timeframe for processing the online lodgement is usually 12 business days, however it can take up to 30 calendar days.

Where's my return?

All the best and I hope everything is going well for you overseas.

Hi @Jodie_ATO ,

Thank you for your prompt response and help on this matter.

I have requested the potal service to retreive the mail containing the paper return and will submit my returns online after June 30.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,
