Work pants

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if we can claim a deduction for work pants; such as, RSEA drill cargo work pants or BigW, Kmart work pants?

Could anyone help me to clarify it, please? It would be appropriated.

Hi @Lana1417,

You can claim a deduction for the cost of buying and cleaning occupation-specific clothing, protective clothing and unique, distinctive uniforms. However you would need to meet the criteria to claim. Work related expenses information is available on our website.
