Hi @Jacinda,

If you can't find your TFN you can:

  • log in to your myGov account to locate your TFN
  • look at a notice of assessment or payment summary you may have received

If you are unable to find your TFN using these methods, you will need to phone us. There is more information about lost or stolen TFNs on our website.

All the best.

Hi @Kuki1954,

In order to see your TFN in MyGov, you need to have the ATO service linked to your account.

If you don't have the ATO linked, you can contact us to provide you with a linking code and talk you through how to set it up. You'll need to have a proof of identity document available (such as a drivers licence, birth certificate, passport) when you call in order for us to provide a code for you.

Once your ATO service is linked, click on it:
-along the top bar click on the tab called 'My Profile'
-the dropdown arrow should expand.
-click on 'Personal details'.
-your TFN should appear on the right hand side across from your name.

Hope this helps!
