How can we trust the ATO when the Deputy Commissioner Cranston can violate his duty to the public!!

The ATO is in public position of trust and needs to be and should be trusted as much as any public service can be.

 

Just because one person violates their position does not mean the entire ATO or public service can not be trusted. 

 

This is not something new, violations of public duty has happened before and will happen in the future.  How many politicians have done this ?  

 

Usually, no one knows what someone is really capable of doing when they are considered for or appointed to a position.

 

Even some of the most trust worthy people have been caught betraying the trust of others and violating their duties, public or otherwise.

 

Time to move on ...
