I am a onsite computer technician using my own car for work.  I visist between 2 and 6 different clients each day, never the same clients or location.  I sometimes leave from home and travel straight to my first client, complete work and then travel to next client complete work and so on. after my last client i travel back home.  Is my travel between home and my first client counted as business travel?  is my travel from my last client to home business or personal?

Hi @Tkenton

This will count as itinerant work. This means if you travel direct between your home and a client's location, you can count this as business travel and claim a deduction for this.

You can read about itinerant work on our website.
