I just realize that I forget to add my partner's information when I lodged my tax return. We develped into a relationship and even registered as de facto, after a few months we broke up adn revoked the registration.

Do I need to add it now? The year might be impacted was 2018-2019, and although we were couple, We did not invest any business toghther and my financial situation was not impacted by his finance situation at all. We did not have the same medical insurance either.

Someone please help me here, Thanks :)

Hi @Gracegrace,

You're required to include Spouse details in your tax return if you had a spouse anytime during the financial year.

So you'll need to lodge an amendment for your 2018-2019 tax return, which you can do online though myTax. You'll need to answer the questions to the best of your knowledge if you can't obtain the information from your ex-partner.
