Hi,

I recently filled up a W-8BEN form and inadevertently provided my TFN number where the TIN was requested. I did read the IRS Notice later after I had already submitted my form. I realise that Australians do not have to declare their TFN. But having done so, is there any problem ?

Hiya @rameshd33,

There shouldn't be any issue. As long as you communicate to the IRS that you entered the incorrect number.
