I am a sole trader who will gross ~$50k per annum in my business. I also have a job where I may earn in excess of $25k. This means I may earn more than $75k which is the sole trader gross income limit before you must register for GST.

When considering if I need to register for GST do I include both incomes or just my sole trader income? Thank you.

Hi @metagen,

You are only required to register for GST when your total Business GST turnover (Sales not including expenses) is $75,000 or more. Your employment income is not considered in the calculation.
