Hi,

My principal residence was knocked down and rebulit into two units. One side I moved into for 3 months before being sold. Other side was sold. I paid GST withholding for both of units when I sold them.

Q: Can I still get the principal residence full CGT exemption because I moved back into one side and live there for 3 months?

Thanks

No you can't because you've earned income from the sale. Did you split land titles or is it still on the same piece of land?
