Hello Everyone,

I hope you all are well and safe!

I had a question regarding the Job Keeper Alternative Test Irregular Turnover.

Can an entity apply this test for the first time in the December 2020 Quarter Test Period? We have never before applied this test as we didn't need it to satisfy the Job Keeper requirements. Now, we cannot pass the actual decline in turnover test for the December 2020 Quarter, but it is due to the irregularity of revenue.

I confirm that we're eligible to apply the test and that we pass the actual decline in turnover test as well.

Any input is much appreciated!

Hi @broham420,

No issue at all using that test as long as you determine you are eligible to do so. We understand that the straight forward quarter comparison of December 2020 to December 2019 doesn't always work for everyone so these tests are there to get around that.
