as far as i understand i can claim a portion of the rent on my primrary residence if it is also my main place of work

does that mean that the company can pay the entire rent, and only claim the portion of rent expense that is used for business? the balance will be subject to the company tax?

eg. rent is $350pw i use it 50% for my place of work,

the company pays the entire $350 and claims $175. The remaining $175 is subject to the company tax rate?

Thank you
