Hello,

I need to undertake some consulting services for an Italian Company with no branches in Australia.

How can I get paid?

I haven't got any business, do I need to invoice them with my TFN?

The total amount will likely be under $3000.

Thanks

Hello @enagliati

You shouldn't provide your TFN to the company, unless you are going to be working as an employee.

It sounds like you would be working as a contractor, so may want to have a look at the employee/contractor decision tool on our website.

As a contractor, you would normally provide an ABN instead of a TFN, but you can provide a statement by supplier if you're not entitled to an ABN.

Hope this helps :)
