If a business employs Casual delivery drivers under the MA000038 - Road Transport and Distribution Award 2010, is the business required to reimburse each team member for KM travelled, when the employee is using their own vehicle?

If so, does the employer need to follow the ATO 2020 rate of 0.72c per KM or is it up to the discretion of the employer to set their own reimbusement rate?

Hi @Kska,

This will be a question for Fair Work. We can only help with the tax implications of reimbursements, not employment requirements of them.

You can find out how to contact Fair Work on their website.
