Hi,

We have an employee who wants to take a cash out of long service leave (but not actually taking any time off).

Do we have to pay super, or as they are not actually taking any time off, is it still considered OTE?

Hi @GCO101

Long service leave, even if cashed out without taking the leave, is an ordinary time earning and is superable.

You can read about payments that are ordinary time earnings on our website.
