So I got my notice of assessment finally yesterday (16/08/2021) after waiting 6 weeks for the ATO to process it. It shows on my tax account summary that the EFT was issued and effective on the 16/08/2021. So I thought that funds would clear into my commonwealth account at midnight like every other year. But I'm still yet to recieve the funds into your bank account. Iv double checked all the bank details and they are correct. Can anyone else with commonwealth bank shed some light on how long it took for funds to clear into bank account once the EFT had been issued.

An EFT refund will usually transfer to your bank account within 3 business days (from when we issue your NOA).


Payment processing times may vary slightly, depending on your bank and how long they take to process that into your account.


Keep an eye on your bank account. If you haven't received your refund within our usual timeframes, we have options available to help find it.

Glad that's finalised for you now!


We usually see payment processing times of around 3 business days from when we send them out.


This time is entirely dependent on your bank and how long they take to process that into your account.

Does somebody mind, please, just tell me what are the processing times for ANZ specifically? How many days will it take? And maybe publish the popular ones for everyone to see, this question has been asked 100 times on the website.

And if you can't publish them because of being a government agency, please reference where to find them.
