How to lodge tax return if it`s already lodged into closed bank account?

If we've attempted to make a payment to a closed account the good news is it should bounce back. Usually we'll then make the payment via cheque instead. I recommend making sure your bank account details and postal address details are all up to date in myGov. This will ensure that when our system processes the refund again it will go out to the correct account/address. But, if you'd like to request the refund to be issued to your bank account instead you'll need to contact us directly. Let us know if you've got any questions.
