I had two jobs last year; my second job where I earned less than first job, was directly related to my full time study. But my profession on tax return is different as I earned most from the first job. Would I be able to claim educational expense deduction in my tax return? My profession where I earned most last year was different, but now after finishing my degree I am working in relevant profession similar but higher paying to my second job.

Hi @SaqibM, You can claim the cost of self-education expenses as long it relates to your employment whether it's your first or second job, as long as you were studying at the same time as working in that field. You can't claim a deduction for self-education expenses if it enabled you to get new employment or change employment. You can find more information under "Self-education expenses" which can assist you further.
