Recently lost my the TFN letter they send you to notify you of your TFN after you apply for it. Didn't jot it down anywhere (or on MyGov). Just need to know if there is an easy way to find what it is without having to get a whole new TFN. Thanks

Hi @KnT,

As @Fluxpavillion mentioned, you won't need to apply for a new TFN because you lost yours. There's a number of ways you can go about finding your TFN.

If you've got a myGov account linked with the ATO you can find it on there in your profile (In the ATO page). If you've lodged a tax return before it'll be on your notice of assessment that we've sent you. You can also find it on payment summaries from an employer or on a superannuation account statement.

You won't need to apply for another TFN, this may cause issues if you do have two as well. Is there any chance you have a tax agent? They're able to easily find it for you. If you dont have the letter or anything you might need to get in touch with them
