Hi @Tony123,

 

Generally legal expenses incurred in the pursuit of superannuation and total permanent disability (TPD) insurance payments aren't tax deductible.

 

We have a couple of rulings available in our Legal database that you might want to read:

Your circumstances may be different to those outlined in the above rulings so you can't rely on those records in your tax affairs. However, If you want to apply for your own private ruling you can.
