I am a casual employee and an international student who just came here last february and I am very shocked and hurt to see my fortnightly pay to be $644 yesterday. Does anyone know why this is is like this or who can help me not to let this happen please? my tax before was only $269 fortnightly

You would have to check with your employer why they have increased the tax on your pay. I can show you on our website what the tax rates are, but we can't really tell you why your employer specifically taxed you more on this pay.
