How kool your child wants to work at an early age :)
If you want to organise a TFN for your child you can. If a child is working and they aren't an excepted person, they'll need to work out if they receive any excepted income. This income will be taxed in the same way as income an adult receives.
The age of a child for commencement of work in some industries is restricted. You can check with Fairwork if there's any minimum age requirement for pamphlet/letterbox deliivery employee's.
As an Australian tax resident the first $18200 income is tax-free. We'd recommend anyone that's received income to use the Do I need to lodge calculator tool. This advises their lodgement obligations.
