I am working full time and studied across the 21/22 FY. I have a HELP debt. Does my HELP debt automatically get deducted from my fortnightly pay or do I have to individually trigger this for deductions to occur?

Your employer will start to withhold HECS amounts from your pay after you let them know you've got the debt. You can let them know using a Withholding Declaration indicating you have a HECS debt.
