Hi @Emsta1986,

As you'd be considered a contractor working through amazon flex you'd report the income in the business income section of your tax return. Also due to being a contractor Amazon won't report your income to us the same way an employer would if you were an employee. This means we generally won't have any information on how much you earn and you'll need to enter it in on your side.

Hi thanks but I am doing Amazon Flex as a second source of income, I have a full time job. So when I lodge my tax return for my primary job, is the business income section section there to complete?

Also do I input the gross amount I earned from Flex or NET amount, thanks

Hi @Emsta1986,

Yes, the business income section can also be completed on your individual tax return. Yes, you'll need to include the gross amount you've received from your business, you can also include expenses incurred from running your business.

You may wish to speak with a Tax agent to help you out first time round.
