Hello, May i ask a question?

I find out on internet said If I drive Uber eat earn more than 75000 a year.

I have to register gst.

But if lower than 75000 a year, I don’t need to.

But since I am beginning, I am not sure if I can make 75000 a year or not.

If yes.

I don’t see Uber eat pay me the gst fee which uberx does.

How I gonna give gst to ato?

Hi @FungYip,

If your GST turnover goes over $75,000 for 12 consecutive months you've got 21 days to register for GST. You should check your turnover each month. We give you time to register and start collecting on our behalf.

Once a business registers for GST we'll issue a business activity statement, (BAS). You tell us the amount of GST you've collected from you customers and have an opportunity to let us know if you've paid GST for an appropriate service or product. You'll either pay the difference or we'll refund GST credits to you.
