Hi @mos328,

The amounts your employer withholds won't show up in your HELP account in ATO online. These amounts are grouped with your normal tax they withhold. We then hold it all together ready for your tax return lodgement. Your compulsory repayments are then made from these amounts.

We have an article about Paying HECS HELP student loan that has more details.

Hi @mos328,

When your employer withholds for your HELP loaon the tax is paid to us ready for if you need to make a compulsory repayment. When you lodge your return for the year if your repayment income is less than the repayment threshold, you won't need to make a payment. The withheld amounts are then refunded with your return. This sounds like what would be happening here. You can view the current (and past) repayment thresholds on our website.
