For a bakery selling food items, some have GST some don't. For the items that don't attract GST e.g. baked bread, should they be coded as GST Free (and reported on BAS) or BAS Excluded?

GST free items would be reported in G1 Total sales, with GST tax code "no GST". We have a simpler BAS GST bookkeeping guide on our website which goes through how to report items such as this on your BAS.
