Can someone please clarify if you are able to send a negative YTD deduction amount for salary sacrifice in STP2.

So, for example if an employee receive a refund of salary sacrifice amounts we would report that as a negative deduction. Will this be accepted by STP2.

Thanks

Hi @RenneC,

Yes, you can report a negative in your STP. There are some circumstances where this can happen, and a refund of a salary sacrifice is one of those circumstances. But, if any YTD figures are reported as negative, the overall amount of income for the other income types must still be zero or positive.
