I’ve booked my tax return through an agent 2nd week of July and i received an email from ato that my refund will be issued 26 August.. I did have a look at my ATO account and my bank details are totally different account? Does that mean my tax agent put in a totally different bank account ?

A pretty common thing when lodging with a tax agent is that the refund is set to go to them first before they issue it to you. If you haven't paid them for the lodgement sometimes they can take the payment from your refund before you get it. May not be the case here, but I've seen it happen before. I'd recommend getting in contact with your agent to just double check that's what's happening here.
