Lodgement was 13/7, processed 16/7 effective date 29/7

Ive called a couple of times - and nothing no one can help - website says after 10 days to call - call and they say after 28 or 30… I’ve been told there isn’t any issues as to why… anyone else had this? How long past the effective date did anything happen?

Hi @Thisisme,

Tax returns can sometimes take longer than 2 weeks to process. There are some different reasons why there may be a delay in processing.

The effective date is the date that your refund will be sent to your nominated bank account, but it can take a few days for the refund to actually get to your account, depending on your bank's processing times.

We also have a community article about stages of processing tax returns that might help you.
