Registered with MyGov. I have lodged returns in previous years. I am employed by an Australian company but live in NZ. I pay tax in Australia on a non-resident tax rate.

Not to worry, we can help you fix this so you can lodge online. This error can happen if you've previously let us know that you don't need to lodge a tax return. Our website has information for using myTax when you don't see a link to your tax return. If you follow the steps on this link, you should be able to lodge your tax return online.

The advice from the link you sent:
"If you previously indicated that your last lodged tax return was your final return, select the Not lodged tab on the Income tax page. Then follow the on-screen instructions to start your return. If a link does not display allowing you to lodge your tax return you will need to contact us."
There is no link displaying or online instructions allowing me to lodge a return, just "no return due, contact us". It is likely the last return I filed said it would be the last return but there is no option to amend this via MyGov.
