Looking at a company restructure as when we first started out our account advised to set up as a company then a business trading name. We have now downsized and looking at changing to either a family trust or sole trader. Is this possible?

You can change your business structure if the nature of your business has changed. To do so you'll need to cancel your ABN and apply for a new one that reflects your new business structure. It's recommended that you seek professional advice from a tax agent when making changes like this.
