Hi @Retiree,


Being a veteran for tax offset purposes means you may be eligible to claim the Seniors and Pensions Tax Offset (SAPTO).


If you are a veteran who recieves a pension, allowance or benefit from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) you should meet the criteria for SAPTO.

Thanks Riley. I don't actually receive a DVA pension. As a [Removed by moderator] card holder I receive a small non-taxable injury compensation benefit. I probably need to check with ATO to confirm eligibility for the Tax Offset.
