I have recently resigned from my full-time position and had my annual leave paid out to me.

I started my job on 29.03.2021 and my last day was 11.11.2022. I had 138.50 hours of annual leave left to be paid out.

I did get the leave paid out but was taxed $1768 on it. I was on annual salary of $71,128 and just want to confirm if the tax amount is right which for some reason looks a lot more to me than normal?

Hi @rajveerpadda

If you left voluntarily then marginal rates would apply.

Schedule 7 tells you more about this and includes the marginal rate calculation your employer would've used.
