Just wondering if another could give some advice. A local church is trying to update the authorisation administrator for RAM as the only administrator that was authorised passed away suddenly. They have tried calling the RAM help numbers but can't get very far due to them not being authorised. Is there a process to change a authorisation manager when the current manager is no longer available? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @RachKac,
You have a couple of options here, depending on whether or not the person who passed away was the RAM 'Principal Authority'.
This is normally an officeholder for the entity - I'm not familiar with Church entities, but typically it is a Director, Public Officer, President, etc:
https://info.authorisationmanager.gov.au/principal-authority
If (as I suspect) the person who passed away was acting as the RAM Principal Authority, then you need to replace them and advise the Australian Business Register of the new person's appointment.
Once the ABR has processed this update, then the new officeholder (Director, President, etc) should be able to log into RAM and 'claim' the entity. They can then issue out links to one or more Authorisation Managers.
Essentially you need to get the ABR records up to date before anything can be done about the RAM.
Hope that helps.

Hi @Adam2022 ,
Thankyou for your response. I will get them to go down this avenue.
Appreciate it!
