Your gross payment amount is provided by your employer on your income statement. You can find your previous income statements online in your myGov account. To do so, go to the linked ATO section, Employment, and then Income Statements. If you then click the drop-down arrow on one of the statements you should be able to find a 'Gross Payments - Individual' heading. This should be your gross amount!
