I am unable to set up the Director ID online.

I have MygovId set up (as standard strength) and able to proceed to a step where we need to link to ATO and provide 2 of the verification details.


I am succesfully able to provide the Bank details but the moment I add my Superannuation Details, it keeps erroring out.

I am literally copy-pasting the Super Fund ABN & Member details from the ATO site, but keeps giving me error.

Below is the error details.

  • "This does not match what is held on ATO records (GFAD03)

I have tried clearing the cache as well, login/logout. Nothing works.


Rest of the options on the page isn't clear on how should I supply that information.


Can you provide me with a number specific to Director ID set up, if possible.

Are you able to try another option such as your notice of assessment? You can find your most recent NOA in your myGov inbox. The 'Link to ATO' page should tell you what details to supply (e.g. date and reference number) when you click on each option.


Alternatively, the ABRS website has info on how to apply if the myGovID method isn’t working.
