do i calculate a casuals super using the award wage or is it calculated using the award wage plus the 25%casual loading
Hey @marlinhandyman,
Generally employers pay superannuation contributions of 10.5% of the employees ordinary time earnings. This is whether they are full time, part time or casual. If an award or enterprise agreement shows a different contribution percentage this is the percentage, you would contribute from their ordinary time earnings. e.g., 12.5% instead of the minimum compulsory 10.5%
There are no extra contributions for a casual employee.
