Currently there is gravel down both sides of the property. Would having concrete added to make the property more accessible, down both sides of the house be regarded as a Repair or an improvement?   If an improvement, is it claimable? and how would I claim the deduction?

Gravel turned into concrete = improvement

Claim capital works = cost x 2.5 % - pro rata in first year
