I my tax return is showing Cheque Refund for income tax ******* because I added my account late

But now that I did would it change to EFT before the effective date ?

Hi @eggmoji,


If your refund is showing as 'cheque'. it means that it has already been posted as a cheque to the postal address on file.


It will not change to EFT automatically now the cheque has issued from the bank details being updated.


If you would prefer to have the refund issued electronically, you can request we cancel the cheque and issue you an EFT refund. This can take 28 days.
