Hi there, I'm in the process of purchasing a house and speaking with my broker this week. The broker has mentioned a new program released late 2022 called "Housing Affordability Scheme" where you use your super funds as a guarantor for a mortgage (like using your parents but using super instead). I'm trying to find info on this program but not having any luck. Is there anyone here who knows information or could assist? Is it through a SMSF or something else?

If this is the same thing, then draft legislation has not been released yet.

You should ask the broker for more information.

Thanks for the link but it isn't that.

The Broker will give us more info but I'm looking to see if anyone has anything prior to my meeting with the Broker.
