Sometimes it can be a matter of trial and error when verifying documents like this. There's some information about verifying your citizenship certificate on the myGovID website - try verifying it again using the advice on there. Things like symbols or abbreviations often cause the issue.


If that doesn't work for you, you might just need to apply for a TFN another way.
