My partner has a home loan taken under their name. We have lived at the property for the same length of time (about 1 year). We both contribute equally to paying off the loan; I transfer money to their bank account every month.

Am I allowed to use my salary packaging to pay toward this loan?

Details: I'm a "healthcare and charities" employee. I have been provided contradictory information by the salary packaging provider and would like to have this clarified.

Thanks in advance

Hi @kerope,

It's possible to include your mortgage in your salary sacrifice package. At the end of the day, it's up to your employer to decide if they'll do this.

Check our information about salary sacrifice on our website.
