I was believe I was deceived by my previous employer. He want to sign a contract with me as a subcontractor and suggested he would create an ABN for me. I didn't understand the difference, and I urgently needed that job, so I said yes thinking he would do as he said. During the 6 weeks that I was working for him, I kept asking him for the payslip as I need it for my visa renewal purpose (Work and Holiday visa, subclass 462). He never gave me any payslips, only bank transfers. Now I don't work for him anymore, but I have 6 weeks of income as a subcontractor without an ABN to lodge my tax. Most importantly, I don't have the payslips to prove that I did my specific work for visa renewal purposes. My visa will expire in April so I don't have enough time to re-do those 6 weeks. Please help me as I don't know what I can/should do to fix this. Thank you in advance
