Each time I click the ATO link through the MyGov portal an error message appears. I’m told I’ll need to call the ATO to sort the issue, I was told by the chat support that it is a reoccurring issue for alot of people. Any ideas? I don’t want to sit on hold if its a reoccurring issue for a lot of people.

Are you able to provide what the error message says?
If error code is server_error then refer to our previous post and the response we gave.
If not, then let us know and see if we can provide further troubleshooting on here.
