Hi, a client has a Family Trust. This Family Trust received Dividend income from a company that runs a business. In the Family Trust Item 5 - Is the family trust eligible for the small business income tax offset.

In any case, dividends go in a separate item, not in the business section of the tax return where the SB income box is.
