I came here as Working Holiday Visa and currently, I am on my Covid Visa 408. I read the tax should be the same as my previous visa, in that case 15%, is it correct? So I still fill it up the Tax Form as WHV?

Thank you for your time.

You are not a WHV anymore, and must update the tax form as "Australian Resident for Tax Purposes" with your employer. The tax deduction is different.

Hi @Rafambasso,

You are correct! If you are required to lodge. The income for both the WHV and 408 visa is reported at the WHM label on the tax return.

When changing to a 408 visa, you will be taxed based on your residency for tax purposes

We have a great page if you were previously on Working Holiday Visa and moved to a 408 COVID pandemic event visa you may find helpful.
