Unfortunately, as a sole trader you're not able to claim the cost of medical expenses for work related injuries, this would include vicarious trauma. A sole traders would generally take out appropriate business insurance to protect themselves. The insurance premiums would be a business related expense (https://www.ato.gov.au/business/income-and-deductions-for-business/deductions/) you could claim a deduction for.
