Hi, I hope you can help me.

I want to withdraw my super annuation as I am permanently leaving this country. My question is, I used to hold a student visa 500, as of march this year, then I got a 408 pandemic visa approved. if I leave the country, how much super will I be getting back?

Hi @Nat1990

If you held temporary visas then you should qualify to withdraw your super under the departing Australia superannuation payment or DASP for short.

The amount you get back depends on the tax rate you fall under for the final tax, it could be taxed at 35-45% for non-working holiday makers. If your super is still with the fund you can ask them how much you'll get after they take out tax.
