I have a abn which I use for menulog but I went to start doordash and stuffed up my application so I started a new one, which now my dilemma starts. First application has my abn on it but I wasn't able to finish the application so with my second application for doordash has got me through to put in my abn but it's linked to my first application which doordash is not helpful at all, so my thinking is as I want the same abn for menulog and doordash can I cancel my abn and get a new straight away

Hi @Shua,


If you're a sole trader, you can only ever have one ABN, which you can use for multiple business activities. If you cancel and reapply for another ABN you'll just be given the same number again. If you made a mistake on your application, you can update your ABN details to fix it.


So if you've got an ABN already, you can just use that number for both Menulog and Doordash.
