I opened a retirement pension account this year and have also made a personal contribution to my accumulation account, not my pension account. Can I claim a full tax deduction of this contribution?

Yes, if you are under age 67 - or under age 75 and passed the work test, or work test exemption.
You should make sure that the tax deduction will not reduce your taxable income below $ 21,800.
